Basket of Charms by Sweet Jane
These cute little baskets are made with mini charm squares and two coordinating fabrics. We will learn to use an interfacing that makes sewing the small squares a breeze and a stabilizer that creates a nice standing basket. The Basket of Charms Sweet Jane Pattern has instruction for three sizes of baskets- we'll be making the MEDIUM sized in class using the provided kit.

Gutermann Thread
This pattern works wonderfully with 2.5" and 5" squares, scraps or
yardage making it perfect for using up scraps, charm squares or jelly roll leftovers. They are a great project for seasonal and birthday gifting.
What to bring:

Sewing machine you are familiar with in good working order with:
power cord and foot control
*Extra Needles* 90/14 is a good general size.
You will get a spool of thread in the kit. Feel free to use your own or bring something special for the final touches.
*45mm or 60mm rotary cutter with a fresh blade
*sharp fabric scissors
*seam ripper
*wonder clips or pins
*Marking tools- chalk, pencils, pens or markers. Something that brushes off or disappears with heat or water is good.
Feel free to bring your favorite sewing aids and notions, it's always fun to discover a new sewing trick!
Please arrive early to set up your work station so class can begin promptly at scheduled start time.
Please no perfume as some people have allergies and reactions to certain smells.
