Beginner pillowcase project. Catch some zzz’s on pillowcases of your very own or treat a friend. Once you have made a few of these you will find it is a quick to come together project that is a great gift for friends and family.

A note about most quilting cottons:

The roughly 44 inch wide fabric is folded in half selvedge to selvedge and rolled onto a core board to create a BOLT OF FABRIC. These are the units of fabric we see in stores.

When we ask for a yard of fabric we will get 36 inches of material that is 44 inches wide.

Most quilting cottons will shrink when washed and dried so it is best to get a little extra and prewash fabric before cutting to size for our pillowcase project.
